The Independent Heritage Newspaper is published by the Heritage Communication Systems Inc. and is one of Liberia’s leading Print media outlets that began publication since 1996.

Our website is a counterpart to the newspaper and its readership spans the entire universe. The Heritage reports objective, analytical and investigative news that go beyond ordinary reportage that add values to news reporting.

Over 15 years after the paper started publication, there is a dire need to expand its scope, contents and readership by encompassing the rest of the African continent, the Americas, Asia, Europe and the rest of our global village.

This expansion is necessary in view of the unavoidable changes in geopolitics and the interconnectedness of the rest of the world—in good times and in bad times. Our online publication is aimed at frontiers beyond our physical reach and to provide additional revenues for the institution through the publications of online advertisements and others media coverage.

Heritage and its online publication will strive, as in the past, to provide accurate, objective information on issues at home and broad, and to promote unfettered freedom of expression and of the press, contribute to human growth and development and champion human rights as well as advocate for a safe environment, the reasons for which the Heritage newspaper came into existence in October 1996.

Geographical Reach: Heritageliberia.net readers tend to have diverse educational background, and majority of them reside outside of Liberia. Only 20-25% of the readership resides in Liberia while the rest span the globe. Heritage online publication averages approximately 1.4 million hits per month and our readers spend a cumulative average of 25 minutes a day.
