The Liberia Media for Democratic Initiatives (LMDI) in partnership and with support from Trust Africa will hold the first of a yearlong monthly special series of its media and community outreach blended interactive public forum named and styled, THE DIALOGUE on the rationale of the Liberia rising Vision 2030.
The forum, which is part of a set of media and community outreach visibility activities with support from Trust Africa, is aimed at educating the citizenry of Liberia on the rationale of the ongoing 2030 National Visioning Exercise and to foster citizens’ engagement, participation and feedback.
The forum will serve as a launch of the yearlong set of activities and will take place at the Salala Administration Building in Salala Bong County in Salala City. Senator Jewel Howard Taylor of Bong County will launch the project.
Following the official the launch of the special Vision 2030 sensitive DIALOGUE series, the LMDI will conduct and facilitate the first edition of the Trust Africa sponsored yearlong initiative with Senator Jewel Howard Taylor of Bong County, Miss. Kula Fofana, Co-Chair person Steering Committee vision 2030, Rep. Adam Bill Corneh- Representative, District #6, Bong County as guest panelists. The other panelists are former Bong County Lawmaker Martin Kerkulah and Salala District Commissioner Karmo A. Kanneh. They will all speak around the rationale of Vision 2030
They will interact with the people of Salala as their audience. Deliberations from the year long TRUST AFRICA/LMDI National Visioning education exercise under “THE DIALOGUE” will be broadcast on the LMDI’s partner Network of 45 media outlets across Liberia.
