LoneStar Cell MTN Launches Blackberry Solution

The Management of LoneStar Cell MTN on Thursday, November 22, 2012 launched its Blackberry Solution in the country. The launch of the Blackberry solution was held at the Golden Gate Hotel in Paynesville, outside Monrovia. The Blackberry Solution is software that enables smart phones, especially the Blackberry phones to perform to its greatest quality.

Speaking at program marking the launch of the Balckberry Solution, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LoneStar Cell MTN,  Mr. Tebago Mogapi,  said the launch of the software is part of the company’s commitment to buttress the Government of Liberia (GOL) effort towards the rebuilding process of the country. According to Mr. Mogapi, the company will do all it can to revamping the telecommunications industry of the country.

This, he said,  is part of the LoneStar MTN’s commitment to its core value to the MTN Group. “We are committed to provide to our customers innovative products and services in the area of telecommunications. When I arrived here sometimes in June, there was no full service for Blackberry in this country, and so it was one of my greatest goals to achieve, and now, this is the day,” the LoneStar Cell MTN CEO pointed out.

Speaking further, Mr. Mogapi noted that the company extended its services to areas where there has been no network for mobile phone communications. He disclosed that the complete 179 service centers before the end of the year, noting, this will enable customers to enjoy quality mobile communication services from LoneStar Cell MTN.

For his part, the Deputy Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism(MICAT), Mr. Norris Tweah, lauded the efforts of LoneStar Cell MTN in complementing the GoL in the country’s development agenda. He said the GOL is opened to promoting perfect competition in business, stressing, “This brings about quality and efficiency.”

He said the launch of the Blackberry Solution will in other way revolutionize the manner and form in which mobile phones are used. “The launch of this solution, I know will help to alleviate the technological challenges Liberia as a country faces,” the  MICAT official added.
