Storm renders several homeless

Over ten persons have been made homeless when a storm unroofed their house in the slum community of Crab Hole on the Bushrod Island, outside Monrovia. Crab Hole is located in St. Paul Bridge Community, District # 16 Montserrado County.

The heartbreaking incident occurred during the early afternoon hours of Sunday, May 19, 2013.

Our arms are open if Maritime calls for dialogue - Families of dead Cadets

The  families of the Four Dead Cadets of Maritime on May 16, 2013 say their arms are opened if the Liberia Maritime Authority (LMA) calls for dialogue. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, May, 16, 2013 in Sinkor, Monrovia, the Spokesperson of the families, Madam Wangar Reed-Dennis,  said the families had initially submitted to a peaceful dialogue with the understanding that the LMA would had sympathized with them and provided  answers surrounding the deaths of their family members , but that did not happen.
